The week-to-week wait for new episodes of “The Last Dance” already feels unbearable. As we wait to learn more about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, here are a few related projects you can binge to fill the void.

If you’re anything like me (or the 6.1 million other people who tuned in on Sunday), the first two episodes of The Last Dance were the quickest two hours spent in quarantine thus far. Episodes 1 and 2 delivered on the promise of unprecedented access and insight to Michael Jordan‘s last championship run with the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls, and apparently, those thrilling premieres were the tamest two hours of the 10-hour docuseries.

There’s some comfort in having a weekly, two-hour period where everyone on NBA Twitter (and sports Twitter in general, for that matter) gets together on Sunday night to enjoy the next batch of episodes, but most people were ready to binge all 10 episodes in one sitting. With that build-up of anticipation comes an excruciating wait on a week-to-week basis.

For the younger crowd, this is the first, intimate look they’re getting at MJ as the GOAT, the Bulls as an untouchable dynasty, and Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and the rest of this colorful cast. Even for those who were around throughout Jordan’s reign in the ’80s and ’90s, The Last Dance is already serving up new tidbits and bringing old stories to life in a way that just wasn’t possible back then without constant media coverage and social media to document it all.

The first two hours were salacious as it is, and with eight parts to go, the wait between Monday morning and Sunday evening is about to get even more unbearable with each passing week. So if you need something to binge to satisfy that craving for quality sports documentaries, anything Michael Jordan or just ’80s and ’90s NBA lore in general, we’ve got a few ideas on what you can watch in the meantime to fill the void.
