Ranking the best fantasy football options that were among the first round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, including Joe Burrow and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

When it comes to football, some of us are more interested in fantasy football than what teams are actually doing on the field. When we look at the NFL Draft, we’re looking at the players that are the best fit for our teams. Especially if we play in dynasty leagues, we’re looking for the next rookie sensation we could take with our picks.

This year, the first round of the NFL Draft was a little odd, with no Roger Goodell hugs and a lot of people saying “no you go ahead” because of exactly where we are facing a global pandemic. Still, the NFL is acting as if it’s going to be full steam ahead with a full NFL season, so we will go forth the same way.

This season may be a little strange for rookies, but sometimes skill conquers all in the NFL, and rookies could be here to dominate. In the first round, there were only 11 of the 32 picks that eligible for fantasy. This is what happens when the offensive tackle is one of the most popular positions. However, there were three quarterbacks taken in the top ten, and it was one of the most highly rated drafts for wide receivers.

There’s a ton of talent taken in the draft, but of those 11, five especially were taken in a spot where we felt the situation puts them in a spot to put up monster numbers.
