4. Joe Burrow, Bengals
Joe Burrow is the only quarterback on this list. Unlike the other quarterbacks taken in the first round, Burrow has a clear path to the starting job, no injury concerns and the best supporting cast with which to work.
The Bengals offense is low-key not that bad when it comes to weapons. Joe Mixon has shown he can be a really good running back. Then, there’s A.J. Green coming back from injury and playing for a new contract. Tyler Boyd had a breakout year last year and former No. 9 pick John Ross finally showed flashes of coming alive. Plus, second round pick Tee Higgins, the former Clemson wide receiver, should be a great young weapon to blossom with over the next few years.
Burrow could be a top-15 option at quarterback right away, and certain weeks he could sneak in the top 10. If you’re someone who likes to draft two quarterbacks, Burrow would be a really nice No. 2 option.
