Ohio State. Pick Analysis. RB. J.K. Dobbins. 57. player. 51. Scouting Report

J.K. Dobbins may actually be the best running back remaining on the board, but it seems some teams disagree. The Los Angeles Rams don’t have a huge need at running back, even after letting Todd Gurley go, but if Dobbins slips this far it would be tough for them to pass up the opportunity.

At Ohio State, J.K. Dobbins was a star with 2,003 rushing yards on 301 attempts for 21 touchdowns in 2019. He was one of only three backs in the FBS to break that 2,000 yard mark, and his touchdown number was high ranking as well. Dobbins also provided support in the passing game, adding two more touchdowns to his record book with 247 yards. His junior season earned him second-team Associated Press All-American honors and he won the Big Ten Running Back of the Year award.

Dobbins is a player that will wear an opposing defense down as a game goes on with his tough running style. That will give him a ton of value in third down situations, which is something that NFL teams love to have. Dobbins played his best games against the best competition too, so he won’t shy away from any battle in the league. He is the perfect fit for the Rams.
