2. Away: Washington Redskins

The Giants only won four games last season. But, two of those wins came at the expense of the Washington Redskins.

In the first meeting in Week 4, Dwayne Haskins entered his first ever NFL game. He threw three interceptions, and the Giants won by a score of 24-3 at home. A few months later, Haskins played much better, throwing for 133 yards and two scores. But, he had to leave the game and Case Keenum relieved him.

However, that day was all about Jones. He threw for 352 yards and five touchdowns. Eventually, the Giants won on the road in overtime.

Jones winning on the road against divisional opponents would be a welcomed habit. In 2020, he and the Giants need to go down to the nation’s capital and win again.

Without getting out of hand and thinking playoffs, the Giants and Jones need to learn how to win on the road against a team like this. Why? This will be a team you play twice a year every season.

Gaining the experience of winning on the road against these teams will pay dividends. Not to mention, the Giants are in much better shape than the Redskins. For a team that may not win a lot of games, you have to grab them when you can.
