1. DeAndre Hopkins will lead the NFL in receiving yards

Bill O’Brien may not have liked Hopkins but Kingsbury will absolutely love working with him. The Cardinals are going to do everything in their power to make the trade for Hopkins look as good as possible.

That’s why this prediction is for him to lead the entire league in receiving yards. The Cardinals are going to throw the ball a ton. They will need to win shootouts to stay in the playoff race. That’s why Hopkins is in line for a massive year even if the Cardinals have other quality weapons in their receiving corps.

Don’t buy into the idea that Hopkins is slipping. Anything he’s lost in terms of athleticism has been more than made up for in terms of technique and skill. It might take a little time for he and Murray to get on the same page, but both guys fit perfectly in terms of their respective skill sets.

Again, the addition of Hopkins may not lead to a massive increase in wins for the Cardinals in 2020. The team is still a season of quality offseason work away from becoming a legitimate NFC West contender. It will, however, make this offense even more dynamic. Hopkins is going to be a bona fide stude for Arizona.
