Edwards might be redundant given the past two drafts for Cleveland. In 2018, they selected Collin Sexton, and followed that up with another guard in Darius Garland in 2019. Still, Edwards has the highest ceiling on the board and maybe in the draft as a whole. He’s also not a lead guard, meaning the Cavs could figure out the semantics between him, Sexton and Garland later and worry about taking the best player now.
