Away: Buffalo Bills

Being a power in the NFC means knocking aside some visiting contenders from the other conference and the Buffalo Bills’ scheduled visit to SoCal is offering a big chance for either side. A win here for Buffalo would be a major talking point in favor of the Bills as the new AFC East’s new power.

A win for the Rams would give them even more confidence to believe that 2019 was an anomaly and that they really are relevant to any conversation about Super Bowl contenders.

The Bills defense is going to remain their calling card but they’ve taken a couple personnel hits that will be interesting to watch. (Jordan Phillips to Arizona, for one.) That said, Josh Allen‘s ability to run keeps defenses honest and now he’s got a major target of his own in Stefon Diggs to punish secondaries for not staying with their man on plays lengthened by Allen’s legs.

Can this offensive combination help balance out the Bills and make them a well-rounded contender? A game like this against the Rams will go a long way toward proving that one way or another.
