3. Away vs. New York Giants

This past season, the Cardinals actually posted a better record on the road (3-5) than at home (2-5-1). There were victories at Cincinnati (Week 5) and the somewhat-usual triumph at Seattle (Week 16). And there was also a 27-21 win at East Rutherford, New Jersey, over the New York Giants (Week 7) which may have been one of the most complete games of the team’s 2019 season.
It proved to be clash between the first two quarterbacks selected in the 2019 draft as Kyler Murray and the Giants’ Daniel Jones. But it was the former’s teammates that took center stage. Cardinals’ running back Chase Edmonds finished with 126 yards on the ground and had touchdown runs of 20, 20 and 22 yards, respectively. And outside linebacker Chandler Jones had four of the team’s eight sacks of Jones. Kliff Kingsbury’s club also played turnover-free football this day while Jones was picked off once and lost two of his three fumbles.

This is beginning to sound like a familiar theme when it comes to the Cardinals. Like the first two teams mentioned in the Panthers and Redskins, the Giants will also have a new head coach in former New England Patriots’ assistant Joe Judge.
