Game of the Week: Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams

This isn’t the sexiest matchup on paper, but it may mean plenty once we get into Demceber and January.

The Rams and Bears both enjoyed terrific campaigns in 2018. Los Angeles went to the Super Bowl while Chicago was 12-4 and won the NFC North by a comfortable margin. Now, the Bears seem to be rolling with Nick Foles after declining Mitchell Trubisky’s fifth-year option. The move could give the rest of the roster some juice heading into 2020.

The winner of this game could be surging towards a wild card berth, while the loser drops a key tiebreaker. Los Angeles is at home so early on, paper says it’s more important for the Rams to win. However, if the Bears are going to navigate a challenging schedule, they’ll need to pull a few road upsets, and this is a good spot for one.
