Arizona Cardinals 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game
By Nick Villano
Weeks 5-8
So, the Arizona Cardinals are going to trip over their own feet here. The New York Jets have an interesting roster with a head coach in Adam Gase that has a lot to prove. Sam Darnold eventually puts together a really good game, throwing for 200 yards in the second half. The Cardinals running game stalls, and the Jets actually get the best game of the year from Le’Veon Bell.
A weird score for what ends up being a weird game. There’s a fumble into the endzone for a touchback (still makes no sense), a blocked punt, and a quarterback running 65 yards on one play. It was bizarre, but Dak Prescott took this game over. CeeDee Lamb went off, but Amari Cooper was not without his moments, scoring a 33-yard touchdown.
Woof. This one got rough in a hurry. Unfortunately, this happened on the Cardinals home turf. Last season, the young gun Cardinals were able to win at Century Link Field, one of the best home-field advantages in the league. However, when they played at home they had no chance. We see a weirdly similar result here, with Russell Wilson just having one of those games where he can’t be stopped.
The Cardinals have their Bye Week during Week 8.
