Weeks 5-8

53. Final/OT. 24. 46. 18

If the Browns would like to have any game back this season, it will end up being their home date vs. the Indianapolis Colts. There will be more picks than two Nathan Petermans squaring off, as Philip Rivers and Baker Mayfield will combine to throw half-a-dozen picks. Despite self-inflicted wounds, the Colts win the toss in overtime and score in the first drive. Colts, 24-18.

27. 53. 33. 55. Final

As with all of their divisional road games, the Browns will give a great effort, but will not have what it takes to be at rival in their place. The animus between Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers intensified after Myles Garrett Mason Rudolph‘s own helmet at his exposed head. This could be a game the Browns could have ended up winning, but they’ll do something dumb. Steelers, 33-27.

26. 53. 28. 56. Final

If you won a Heisman Trophy in college, odds are you start at quarterback in the AFC North. Baker Mayfield will clash against last year’s winner in Joe Burrow twice. Though the Cincinnati Bengals aren’t expected to win a ton of games, that Joe Cool factor will serve his team, as they propel themselves to victory over their hated in-state rival. Again, close but no cigar. Bengals, 28-26.

53. Final. 30. 28. 34

Cleveland will face another ground-and-pound team in the Las Vegas Raiders this year. Joshua Jacobs will go toe-to-toe with Nick Chubb in this one. The pass rush will be a push as well in this game. The difference here is Baker Mayfield’s willingness to air it out over his counterpart Derek Carr‘s reluctancy to do so. Browns win a wild one in a bit of a shootout. Browns, 34-30.
