Weeks 5-8

28. 28. 124. Final. 21

This contest will be closer than expected but Kansas City finds a way to top Las Vegas at home 28-21. The Raiders’ defense is improved, but they still don’t have enough depth in the secondary to slow down the Chiefs’ outside receivers.

16. Final. 21. 124. 28

This matchup is trickier than it appears since the swirling winds in Buffalo can wreak havoc on the passing game. The Bills take advantage here, using their strong defense and running game to keep Mahomes off the field in a 28-21 victory.

27. 124. 17. 45. Final

Going to Denver is never fun for any team but the Chiefs have had a good run there of late. Kansas City has won five straight games in Denver and makes it six here as Patrick Mahomes outduels Drew Lock.

14. 30. 35. 124. Final

This game is an absolute layup as the Chiefs cruise to a 35-14 victory over the perpetually rebuilding New York Jets. Patrick Mahomes easily takes advantage of a Jets’ secondary whose top corner is Pierre Desir, which isn’t nearly good enough to contend with Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins on the outside.
