Los Angeles Rams 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game
Weeks 5-9
A trip to Landover, Maryland, is one of three east coast ventures for Sean McVay’s team this season. The Rams make their first appearance at FedExField since 2015 and these teams clash for the first time since ’17. In both instances, the Rams were on the short end of the scoreboard. But McVay’s club will make it look easy.
This past season on Saturday evening in Week 16, Sean McVay’s club went into Levi’s Stadium and owned a 21-10 second-quarter lead over the eventual NFC champion 49ers. But it wasn’t meant to be as San Francisco rallied for a 34-31 triumph thanks to a Robbie Gould field goal on the final play of the game. And this one will be just as close.
For the second consecutive year, Sean McVay’s team will host the Chicago Bears. A year ago on a Sunday night (Week 11), Jared Goff and his teammates came away with a 17-7 win in a game in which the Rams’ defense arguably came up with its best performance of the season. Look for a similar kind of contest and result.
Sean McVay’s team makes its way east to the Sunshine State as the Miami Dolphins host this infrequent series for the first time since 2012. The last time these clubs squared off, the club from South Florida managed a 14-10 win at Los Angeles. The Rams are 2-11 lifetime in this setting but Brian Flores’ team won’t ready for this challenge.
Los Angeles has its bye week during Week 9.
