Minnesota Vikings 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game
Weeks 9-12
The Vikings’ offensive line is going to get put to the test by a fierce Bears’ pass rush. Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn will prove to be too much for Minnesota’s front in this one, forcing Kirk Cousins to run for his life. The Bears win 21-10 at home.
Mike McCarthy is very familiar with trips to Minnesota from his days in Green Bay, and the Vikings won his last two visits to Minneapolis. A more talented team doesn’t change the result for McCarthy, who sees his Cowboys fall just short. Minnesota squeaks out a 24-22 victory.
The Panthers aren’t bad, but the NFC South is a brutal division. Minnesota will have a tough time slowing down Christian McCaffrey but Teddy Bridgewater may have a tough time staying upright behind a reworked offensive line. The Vikings survive a 30-24 game from a spirited Panthers’ squad.
The Jacksonville Jaguars may be tanking for Trevor Lawrence and poor Gardner Minshew should be running for his life in this one. Minnesota’s front four will overwhelm the Jaguars’ line, setting the stage for an easy win. The Vikings nearly double up the Jags, winning 23-10.
