New York Giants 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game
The New York Giants schedule features some winnable games for Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, but what do you predict their final record will be?
Last season, the Giants hung their hats on a 4-12 record. Pat Shurmur was ousted as the head coach and Joe Judge was hired. Judge comes from the Bill Belichick coaching school, so optimism has peaked among fans.
That optimism is warranted. No, the Giants are not an established winner just yet. But another season with Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, a better offensive line and some experience on the defense, and the Giants can label themselves competitors once again in 2021.
Hidden in the team’s 4-12 record were some fallacies. The Giants could have won at least two more football games.
In a six-point loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the offensive line surrendered eight sacks and Jones turned the ball over three times. On the road in a five-point defeat to the Chicago Bears, the Giants mustered only 243 total yards of offense.
The Giants could be 2-3 wins better in 2020. This year, they will play the six division games per usual, as well as the NFC West and AFC North. The Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also on the schedule.
