Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game
By Nick Villano
Summary of the season:
Final Record:11-5
1st Wild Card spot
The Steelers are ready to push teams in the playoffs once again. They go into the postseason as a team that could make some noise as a Wild Card. They face the Bills in the Wild Card Round, as they finally take down the New England Patriots for the division. It’s a really fun season, one of the last good seasons from Ben Roethlisberger, and it could be his last overall.
Tomlin really solidifies his job as the head coach, once again getting the most out of his roster. The front office didn’t make a ton of moves, only adding Eric Ebron as an offensive weapon. This, despite other teams in the division adding huge pieces (Cleveland: Austin Hooper, Baltimore: J.K. Dobbins, Cincinnati: Tee Higgins) on the offensive side.
The Steelers push themselves one more time before they are forced to transition to the next step. What life looks like after Roethlisberger is a massive mystery. However, they are built to make another run. The big bad Patriots are no longer very big or bad with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay.
The Ravens look like they’re built to last, but who knows how they’ll respond to the pressure? The Chiefs are the team to beat, and it’s hard to imagine they will lose very often. Luckily, the Steelers don’t have to beat them in the regular season, and they can focus on making the playoffs. With this schedule, that’s not that hard of a task.
