The San Francisco 49ers went 13-3 on their way to the Super Bowl in 2019, but what can they do for an encore this season?

The NFL is a league where teams can go from worst-to-first in the blink of an eye, and the 2019 San Francisco 49ers were a great example of that. After going 4-12 in 2018, San Francisco went all the way to the Super Bowl, coming within 10 minutes of claiming the franchise’s sixth championship.

What can the 49ers do for an encore? Let’s take a game-by-game look at San Francisco’s schedule to see how the 49ers might do this season.

Weeks 1-4

32. 27. 42. Final. 20

The Cardinals are getting better quickly, but scoring a road win in San Francisco is a bit much at this point. The 49ers take care of business, winning 27-20 over Arizona at home.

31. 42. 14. 30. Final

The Jets are improving but they still have a ways to go to come close to competing with the Niners. The flight east doesn’t bother San Francisco at all in a 31-14 victory.

31. Final. 35. 42. 10

The 49ers consider MetLife Stadium their home away from home this season, winning both contests in East Rutherford with relative ease. The rebuilding Giants don’t have a chance of staying competitive in this game.

54. 27. 42. Final. 21

The Eagles are a tougher out than originally anticipated, but the 49ers are simply a better overall team. Add in the home-field advantage and it is clear that San Francisco will come out on top in a 27-21 victory.
