2. Defensive upgrades galore in Vegas

The Raiders’ defense should be significantly improved in 2020. The signing that excites the most is Damarious Randall. Randall fills the hole they had at safety and very well could be the difference-maker on the field.

Adding to the Randall signing, Nick Kwiatkoski, Prince Amukamara, and Cory Littleton should help improve this struggling defense. This is tough because their defense isn’t elite, just yet. They have the offense to make a playoff run but their defense is still questionable.

They’ve made a ton of improvements though, and that shouldn’t be discounted when talking about their defense going into 2020. The question is, did they do enough to improve?

I think so. I love the Randall signing, along with Kwiatkoski and Littleton. Littleton will be a key factor to their success on defense next season.

Let’s not forget about the Maliek Collins signing. Collins is a young player who is just getting better in his NFL career. He is big and can stuff the run, while also getting pressure on the quarterback. If all of these signings can gel well together, this defense can be scary.
