851. . OT. Longhorns . Tommy Brockermyer. 4. player

  • High School: All Saints Episcopal (Fort Worth, TX)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 4, No. 1 OT

The top offensive tackle in the 2021 recruiting class is Forth Worth’s Tommy Brockermeyer. With five offensive tackles that are five-star recruits, Brockermeyer is considered the cream of the crop right now.

Pass blocking is his strong suit, which makes him a natural fit to be a bookend left tackle at the college level and beyond. The chase for Brockermeyer will have to run through Texas as the Longhorns could be one of the favorites to land him and keep him home.

He’s expected to have official visits to both Texas and Auburn soon, which would indicate those two are strongly in the running. Right now, Brockermeyer’s pass protecting in Austin has a nice ring to it.

Prediction: Texas

Jack Sawyer. 3. player. 812. . DE. Buckeyes

  • High School: Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 3, No. 3 SDE

Perhaps the biggest prize for Ohio State in the 2021 recruiting class is defensive end Jack Sawyer.  The Ohio product is built like the Terminator and destroys quarterbacks like the Terminator probably would if Arnold lined up at defensive end.

Sawyer made his commitment to the Buckeyes back in February 2019. His desire to play for the Buckeyes hasn’t been a secret and with the success, they’ve had developing pass rushers like Chase Young and Nick Bosa, it’s easy to see why.
