Tampa Bay Buccaneers x-factor: Mike Evans, WR

For Mike Evans, it is more a case of “asking him to continue to be great.” The star wide receiver has been one of the best at his position since he was taken No. 7 overall in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The former Texas A&M standout has posted 1,000+ receiving yards in each of his six seasons in the NFL. He has also hauled in 48 touchdown grabs with 462 receptions. Yes, his numbers may be a bit inflated because the team often plays from behind.

However, Evans is no product of garbage time stat fillers. He is a legitimate superstar. Since his debut in 2014, he has the tenth-most receptions (462), fourth-most yards (7,260), and the third-highest touchdown total (48) in the NFL. He also has the fifth-most targets (835) as well.

The three-time Pro Bowler will become one of Brady’s favorite targets in 2020, and he is perhaps one of the most talented receivers Brady has had the luxury to throw to. Yes, Brady has thrown to a lot of stars.

Last year, the Buccaneers had the most passing yards (4,845) and third-most passing scores (33) in the entire league. Of course, the team had to throw often because they were losing games. But, with a better team performance, and a stronger quarterback, the Buccaneers could be one of the best passing teams again in 2020. Just, this time, the team can do so with better results.

Brady to Evans, something we should all probably get used to hearing.
