3. player. 46. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Record Since 2013. 2-3. Indianapolis Colts

For quite some time, the Colts were the team that Chiefs fans hated the most. Indianapolis was responsible for a lot of tough Chiefs playoff losses and they did that very early on in Reid’s Chiefs tenure. This, of course, was in the 2013 Wild Card game where the Chiefs got up 38-10 at the half and ended up losing after Andrew Luck went wild.

Kansas City’s win over Indianapolis in the 2016 regular season was the first time they had been able to defeat the Colts in five years, showing how much trouble they had with them. The Chiefs got their payback from that embarrassing playoff loss in the 2018 AFC Divisional round.

This past season, however, the Chiefs hosted the Colts on Sunday Night Football and it did not go well. Kansas City, despite having the most explosive offense in the league at that point in time (this being in week five), could not figure out how to score on the Indianapolis Colts defense.

Even though the Chiefs broke their home playoff curse against the same team who had caused them so much heartbreak, the Colts are still a team that should never be underestimated by Chiefs Kingdom.
