How to watch The Match, Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson II: Date, start time, TV info
Watch The Match with Tiger, Phil Mickelson, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning.
The Match: Champions for Charity from Medalist Golf Club will be the talk of the golf and sporting world on Sunday, May 24 at 3 p.m. ET as four huge names in sports. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will go head-to-head once again but will be joined by two NFL legends this time, pairing with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, respectively, for a match play event to help with COVID-19 relief.
This will be the second Sunday in a row that a high-profile golf match will take over the sports world after Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson teamed up against Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff. There’s no denying that the star power of The Match: Champions for Charity far outweighs what happened at Seminole Golf Club last week.
Furthermore, it might offer a tougher test for the golfers. Part of that is due to the fact that Manning and Brady aren’t PGA Tour players, part of that is due to the rust that all of the golfers will have due to the limitations of the current pandemic and part of that is due to Medalist likely offering up tougher conditions.
Regardless, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have a long-standing rivalry, and, after the latter won their first one-on-one matchup, the former will likely be out for victory. The same can be said for Manning and Brady, who have their own longtime rivalry stemming from their battles atop the AFC standings.
There should be no shortage of trash talk and entertainment at The Match: Champions for Charity but, even better, it’s all for a good cause. $10 million has already been pledged to COVID-19 relief and there is likely much more coming given some of the challenges that will be present during The Match.
Simply put, this is can’t-miss golf action. So here’s how you can tune in for the showdown at Medalist.

On a larger scale than last week with Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff, this is the best of both worlds. Not only will The Match: Champions for Charity help with COVID-19 relief on a large scale but it should also be immensely entertaining with golf once again on the TV, this time with four legends, albeit two from golf and two from the NFL.
