Who would make up the Minnesota’s Vikings’ version of Mount Rushmore?

Born out of expansion in 1961, the Minnesota Vikings would eventually make their mark in NFL history. While the franchise is sometimes better known for four failed appearances in the Super Bowl, some of the league’s greatest players have suited up for this organization.

There are Hall of Fame blockers in tackle Ron Yary, guard Randall McDaniel and center Mick Tingelhoff. Other members of the team who reside in Canton include wide receiver Randy Moss, defensive tackle John Randle and defensive ends Carl Eller and Chris Doleman.

There were other superior performers such as wide receiver Sammie White, defensive tackle Keith Millard, iron man defensive end Jim Marshall, running backs Chuck Foreman and Robert Smith, tight ends Steve Jordan and Joe Senser and linebackers Matt Blair and Scott Studwell.

It’s safe to say that it was a difficult decision when it came to narrowing down four players (in alphabetical order) for the Purple Gang.
