5. Iron Man

Tony Stark was the one who started it all as the billionaire, genius, playboy, philanthropist who emerged to the world as the hero Iron Man after being held prisoner by the Ten Rings. Since that day, the hero has had to fight off mistakes from his past and Whiplash, among other things, before becoming one of the first modern-day Avengers.

He has provided the gear, vehicles, and headquarters for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and fought beside each and everyone one of them when it mattered most. His superior intellect, next-level stubbornness, and uncanny ability to always do the right thing in the end are the only superpowers Tony needs.

If there is one thing that Stark has over the rest of his fellow heroes, it’s his wardrobe. The genius inventor has developed a slew of necessary world-saving devices, including a time-traveling GPS device for use in the Quantum Realm. He spent most of his time as a hero trying to put a suit of armor around the world and, in doing so, has created a fleet of Iron Man suits as well as a vast amount of Iron Legion robots. While he is responsible for Ultron and a lot of other deaths at the hands of his misused Stark Industries weaponry, he has more than made up for it when he donned his own glorious Infinity Gauntlet, snapped Thanos and company out of existence as the one they call Iron Man.
