Peloton and ESPN are joining forces for a celebrity charity ride from home.

If you weren’t already on the Peloton bandwagon, this weekend might be a watershed moment for you.

After the company got into some hot water with that controversial television ad, Peloton has become the quarantine savior for those looking to workout but are missing the gym. ESPN is going to be airing a special that not only touts Peloton’s status as a fitness leader, but will also give back to charities in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

16 current and former pro athletes will participate in two 20-minute classes and compete to see who can win and whether or not they can all band together for a cause. The classes will be taught by Alex Toussaint, leading the men’s division, and Robin Arzon will teach the women’s division.

The rider with the highest output number in each of the two rides will be declared the winner for his or her respective division. For those who don’t ride with a Peloton, the output number is the combination of a rider’s cadence and resistance.

If the participating athletes collectively reach an output of 3,000, Peloton will donate one million meals to the Food Bank for New York City.

Basically, everyone wins.
