2.05 – Lawrence Cager (WR – SF)

Lawrence Cager is an intriguing 6’5 wide receiver who really came on as graduate transfer for the Georgia Bulldogs. He always had intriguing size, but finally seemed to start putting it together with Jake Fromm. A possession receiver who can find success in the red zone due to his size and jump ball skills, Cager will be someone to immediately add to taxi squads if he makes the roster. Cager has the talent and upside to make an NFL roster, but may have a tough time making it for the 49ers who have no fewer than four receivers ahead of him. He is a candidate to get snapped up off the 49ers practice squad should San Francisco try to stash him there.
