Searching for the next Philip Lindsay: 2020 UDFA mock draft round two
By Raju Byfield
2.07 – Brian Herrien (RB – CLE)
Brian Herrien is buried behind two talented running backs in Cleveland, but could be a factor in the Browns backfield if Kareem Hunt can manage to stay out of trouble and latch on to a new team in 2021. A physical runner who consistently fights for extra yards, Herrien could earn a role as Nick Chubb’s power backup.
He did not show much as a receiving threat behind D’Andre Swift, but will not be required to catch many passes if he manages to make the Cleveland Browns final roster. However, he has soft hands, and did manage to make the incredible catch below.
A solid zero risk addition for the Browns, Herrien appears to have a real shot at making the teams final roster due to his ability to contribute on special teams. He is a player to monitor in dynasty leagues, and should be a taxi squad consideration for those in the deepest of formats.
