2.08 – Quartney Davis (WR – MIN)

Quartney Davis is an intriguing receiver from Texas A&M. He has limited upside, but possesses good hands and route running skills. He may have a tough time making the team due to his best position being the slot, but he has flashed enough upside to warrant an extended look on the outside.

We could view Davis in a much different light if he had a more consistent quarterback getting him the ball, as there are some who firmly believe that he is more talented than Minnesota Vikings fifth round pick, and fellow slot man K.J. Osborn (though Osborn is superior on special teams). Davis is an interesting free agent or deep league add due to the state of the Vikings roster, and is worth a taxi squad stash if you have the space.
