1. Ugly NCAA basketball uniforms: Kansas State Wildcats

We are the top of the list and we are treated with these uniforms. Kansas State didn’t realize they were actually playing a college basketball game and thought they were at practice right? Why else would they wear their practice uniforms? Or at least have that look.

I haven’t examined every time a team has worn different color jersey and shorts but the ones I have seen are not a good look. The Michigan Wolverines did it once for their first game of the Big Ten tournament, but that was because they had to and they WERE their practice uniforms.

Kansas State has some good looking uniforms normally and I like the K-State they have on the chest of their other uniforms. To be honest, I don’t hate how they have Kansas State on this uniform, but they ruin it by doing two different colors.

They have better elements of this uniform than a lot of schools already on the list. I like the stripes down the side and the thin outline of the collar and sleeves, but they just took all the good items and just threw it out the door.

This is the very definition of the uniform designer outthinking themselves. Keep it one color and you have a great look, but you mix them and you end up with a very ugly look.

Leave good enough alone and you won’t find yourselves at the top of this list.
