LeBron James calls out Laura Ingraham’s hypocrisy.

LeBron James was told to shut up and dribble by Fox News host Laura Ingraham in 2018 after his criticism of President Trump. She didn’t tell New Orleans Saints quarterback to shut up and pass it and he’s had enough.

Ingraham said Saints quarterback Drew Brees was entitled to his opinion. Brees was criticized by Saints teammates, current and former NFL players, among many others as his comments on never agreeing with anyone disrespecting the flag or the United State of America in an interview with Yahoo Finance caused him to apologize one day later.

James tweeted, “If you still haven’t figured out why the protesting is going on. Why we’re acting as we are is because we are simply F-N tired of this treatment right here! Can we break it down for you any simpler than this right here????  And to my people don’t worry I won’t stop until I see.”

The video of Ingraham’s comments compared to hers on Brees was widely circulated from Complex Sports with several professional athletes responding, including Jared Dudley, Jamal Adams, Mike Adams, Donovan Mitchell, and most notably the Los Angeles Lakers star who hasn’t been shy about speaking up about Kaepernick’s right to take a knee and of Black Lives Matter.

Brees issued an apology through his Instagram where he admitted to completely missing the mark with his insensitive comments.

“I would like to apologize to my friends, teammates, the City of New Orleans, the black community, NFL community and anyone I hurt with my comments yesterday. In speaking with some of you, it breaks my heart to know the pain I have caused.

They lacked awareness and any type of compassion or empathy. Instead, those words have become divisive and hurtful and have misled people into believing that somehow I am an enemy. This could not be further from the truth, and is not an accurate reflection of my heart or my character.”

Teammates Malcolm Jenkins, Cam Jordan, Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara were among those who were publicly critical of Brees on Wednesday while Thomas and Kamara thus far have accepted his apology and are ready to make progress.

Thus far, Ingraham has not responded to the latest reason why she’s trending for all the wrong reasons and for inserting herself in the news again.
