As we wait to see exactly what the NFL Season will look like, we start to do our research and see which players are poised to have breakout seasons in 2020. These are the players that will carry you to your fantasy football championship.

I am going to highlight my favorite breakout candidate for each NFL team as well as mention some players that are being undervalued in Fantasy Football drafts. I have identified players that are poised for breakout seasons similar to Lamar Jackson, Chris Godwin or Kenny Golladay in 2019.

These players are being ‘slept on’ currently in fantasy football. They either had a good year last year but aren’t expected to exceed that production, or they had a disappointing 2019 campaign, but are poised to bounce back and do big things in 2020. When I search for a breakout candidate, I look for players that are being drafted later in your fantasy drafts. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you to draft Christian McCaffrey or Patrick Mahomes in your drafts. We are looking for players that could far exceed your expectations this year.

Today, we are talking about the AFC East Division. Once considered the worst division in football, the AFC East is on the come up despite the departure of Tom Brady. The Bills, Jets and Dolphins all hoping to have found their franchise quarterback in recent years that will lead them to promising futures. And of course, you have the Patriots who can never be counted out despite losing, arguably, the best Quarterback of All Time. This is the first year the division might be up for grabs. We will identify one breakout player from each team.

Let’s dive into the Buffalo Bills first.
