Future Georgia quarterback Brock Vandagriff showcases his arm in new highlights.

As pumped up as Georgia fans are for the arrival of grad transfer quarterback Jamie Newman, plus USC signal-caller JT Daniels heading to Athens, no one has forgotten about 2021 commit Brock Vandagriff.

The five-star prospect is ranked the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the country by 247Sports and committed to the Bulldogs after initially committing to Oklahoma. While he’s still got plenty of time before he makes his way to campus, Vandagriff continues to light up practice fields this offseason.

His latest highlights from his Elite 11 tryout have made their way to the internet, and watching them will surely get the Georgia faithful even more excited for the football season to arrive.

Vandagriff has an absolute cannon and still has his senior year of high school to wrap up. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder picked up more than 20 scholarships throughout his recruitment, picking Georgia over Oklahoma, Auburn, Alabama, and many others.

The recruiting victory had to have felt even sweeter for Kirby Smart and his coaching staff with Vandagriff being a prized in-state recruit.

Not only has Vandagriff been rock solid in his commitment to the program since January, but he’s also been hard at work himself trying to help recruit as the Bulldogs continue to add to their 2021 class.

As of this writing, Georgia holds nine verbals for 2021, which checks in at No. 15 on 247Sports’ team rankings. Vandagriff is the lone five-star commit and is joined by seven four-stars and one three-star. With plenty of time until December’s early signing period, Smart his staff will look to keep bringing in more studs and work their way up the rankings. Georgia currently has the No. 15 class in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

With Vandagriff’s outstanding arm and recruiting efforts leading the way for the class, you better believe only more good news will be on the way for the Bulldogs.
