New York Giants: Eli Manning (2004-2019)

Phil Simms has a strong claim to this throne but we’ll go with Eli Manning here. The New York Giants have two of their four Super Bowl titles thanks to Manning, who authored one of the greatest postseason upsets ever against the undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.

Manning’s regular-season totals may not be spectacular but his clutch postseason performance should make him a Hall-of-Famer.

New York Jets: Joe Namath (1965-1976)

One of the first true national celebrities at quarterback, Joe Namath is the first person you think of when you look at the New York Jets’ history.

Namath was a gifted passer, becoming the first quarterback in either league to pass for 4,000 yards, and became famous for following through on his guarantee to lead the Jets past the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. Injuries wrecked the end of Namath’s career but can’t take away from the impact he had on the franchise.

Philadelphia Eagles: Donovan McNabb (1999-2009)

Donovan McNabb got a lot of grief from Philadelphia Eagles’ fans for his failures in the postseason but he was still a really good quarterback.

The Eagles made the playoffs eight times and won the NFC East five times under McNabb, who also led Philadelphia to Super Bowl XXXIX against the New England Patriots. McNabb, a six-time Pro Bowler, was a great player who could have been more of a consideration for the Hall of Fame with a ring on his resume.
