Mecole Hardman is carrying around a giant dead hog.

After winning the Super Bowl and making the Pro Bowl in his rookie season, Georgia product Mecole Hardman is feeling himself, and rightfully so. Hardman is a major piece of the Chiefs’ future at wideout, hence why they’re willing to cut down on his special teams time despite the accolades he received in 2019.

Hardman isn’t as fast as the true ‘cheetah’ on the Chiefs roster in Tyreek Hill, but the man can think on his feet. This past weekend, a photo emerged of Hill holding a dead hog over his shoulder, suggesting a rather odd offseason activity.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman tweeted a photo of himself hunting with a dead hog over his shoulders.

Hardman is evidently an avid hunter and spent some time with former Georgia teammate Ryne Rankin doing just that.

The speedy Chiefs WR was selected in the second round of last year’s Draft, and more than exceeded expectations by becoming one of several KC players to represent their team on the AFC Pro Bowl roster.

His affordable contract also allows the Chiefs some much-needed flexibility as they move forward in an attempt to add to an already-impressive roster. Patrick Mahomes’ looming deal must be weighing heavy on Brett Veach’s head as well.

While one of Mahomes’ top targets participating in any activity involving giant hogs and/or weapons isn’t ideal for a Chiefs team that grew all too accustomed to disappointment before this past season, it’s good to see Hardman staying in shape in his own way, even if it’s in a much different way than some readers would recommend.

Yet, if this is the most significant problem Chiefs fans are dealing with in a rather relaxing offseason, it’s a sign things are going very well at Arrowhead.

Patrick Mahomes’ contract won’t hurt the Kansas City Chiefs. dark. Next
