Texas A&M football has 3 tough road SEC games in October.

Oct. 3 – at Mississippi State Bulldogs

After traveling a few hours away to face Arkansas in their SEC opener, the Aggies will hit the road to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs for their first true road game of the season. Davis Wade Stadium is an intriguing place to play and the pairing of head coach Mike Leach with transfer quarterback K.J. Costello makes the Bulldogs interesting, but it’s unlikely MSU will beat the Aggies this season. Prediction: Texas A&M wins 38-31.

Oct. 10 – vs. Fresno State Bulldogs

Texas A&M gets a nice break and returns home after playing away from College Station for a couple of weeks. Fresno State has proven itself as a prominent G5 program, but the Aggies will be back home and will have a sheer talent advantage here. Prediction: Texas A&M wins 49-27.

Oct. 17 – at Auburn Tigers

And here’s where Texas A&M will truly be tested. In what will likely be one of the most entertaining games the SEC has to offer this season, the Aggies and the Auburn Tigers will be facing off as both teams reach their halfway point of the season. This game being at Auburn will make things difficult for the Aggies, but the Tigers will be fresh off of a physical game against Georgia. Expect this one to be close. Auburn went 9-4 a season ago, but the Tigers were better than that record indicated, with wins over Alabama and Oregon. Prediction: Auburn wins 31-28.

Oct. 24 – at South Carolina Gamecocks

The Aggies and the Gamecocks have a weird SEC manufactured “rivalry”. There’s nothing natural or logical about these two competing against each other every season, but here we are with the Aggies and the Gamecocks competing against each other every single year. A&M has won all six games of this series and expect the Aggies to win again this season. Prediction: Texas A&M wins 31-10.
