Real Madrid host Eibar Sunday in their first game back from the break. Here’s all the info you need to watch La Liga online.

La Liga is back from its coronavirus pandemic hiatus and on Sunday, Real Madrid make their return with a crucial match. On Sunday, second-place Real Madrid host to 16th-place Eibar at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Real Madrid will be especially glad that the league is resuming rather than being abandoned since they are just two points back of rivals Barcelona in La Liga’s tightest title race in years. Los Blancos are second in the table on 56 points and own the head-to-head tiebraker if they catch Barca in the title race. Real Madrid have the best defense in the league this season, conceding just 19 goals in 27 games.

Los Blancos are still alive in the Champions League as well, though they’re on the ropes, down 2-1 to Manchester City at the midway point of their Round of 16 tie.

The setting will be a little bit different, as Real Madrid will host Eibar not at the famous Bernabeu but at the smaller Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano where the Real Madrid Castilla team usually plays. With fans not returning to games, Real Madrid got to work on renovations at the Bernabeu and the team will play out the rest of their home games at their practice facility.

The visitors Eibar are in 16th on 27 points, just on the outside of the drop zone but very much in the relegation battle. The small but resilient Eibar are just two points clear of the relegation places and will do everything to stay up for a seventh consecutive season in the top flight next year. At the same time, they are only six points out of 12th and can easily fight for safety in the final 11 matches.

Eibar have struggled away from home, taking just eight points (1-5-7) and scoring eight goals in 13 matches. Real Madrid, while they will be playing in a different stadium, have not lost a home game (9-4-0) all season.
