Miles Boykin, WR, Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are making a concerted effort to lower the number of hits Lamar Jackson is going to take in 2020. That means they’ll throw the ball more often to wide receivers. Marquise Brown is only built to catch a finite number of passes.

That should increase the volume for Boykin. He’s a much bigger receiver who can provide Jackson with a larger catch radius. He won’t burn defenses over the top for big gains, but he can keep the chains moving with his size and physicality.

Jessie Bates, S, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow is going to inject life into the Bengals offense, but the franchise still needs their defense to take a step forward if they want to be legitimate playoff contenders. Fortunately, the presence of Bates at safety can help them do just that.

He’s not the biggest hitter in the NFL, but he’s a quality tackler who can help in run defense. His biggest strength is patrolling the final third of the field to force turnovers. Look for him to make some key interceptions for Cincinnati in 2020.
