1. The wide receiving corps is deadly

With all due respect to Dallas’ offensive line, the wide receiver group is going to be this offense’s claim to fame in 2020. The Cowboys arguably have three starting wideouts who can be Pro Bowlers this season.

Amari Cooper has cemented himself as a star after his arrival from the Oakland Raiders. He may not be a great bargain after earning his massive contract extension, but he’s still going to catch a ton of balls from Prescott this year.

Michael Gallup won’t lead the team in catches, but his speed gives him a chance to make a ton of big plays over the top of defenses. Look for his speed to be used to force safeties to stay deep in coverage. That will open up room for his teammates.

The X-factor this season for Dallas will be what they can get out of CeeDee Lamb as a rookie. He’s got immense talent, but it might take him a little while to adjust to the NFL game. The Cowboys can afford to be patient with him. They should only be concerned with making sure he’s a valuable weapon for them down the stretch.
