Ohio State football schedule 2020: Predicting every Ohio State Buckeyes game
By Ethan Lee
Oregon gives Ohio State football an early test in Week 2.
Sept. 5 – vs. Bowling Green Falcons
There’s little the Bowling Green Falcons will be able to do against the defending Big Ten champs. Expect Fields — who could be the second coming of Dak Prescott — to be resting before halftime as the Buckeyes bulldoze right through Bowling Green. Prediction: Ohio State wins 63-7.
Sept. 12 – at Oregon Ducks
This will be one of the most heavily anticipated games of the season, especially up to this point. Oregon and Ohio State dominated their respective conferences in 2019 and will likely do the same again in 2020. The Ducks should prove to be a legitimate challenge for Ohio State and will likely expose some of the weaknesses the Buckeyes have this season. Playing in Autzen Stadium makes this game even more of an issue, but expect Ohio State to sneak past the Ducks thanks to the stellar play of Fields. Prediction: Ohio State wins 37-31.
Sept. 19 – vs. Buffalo Bulls
This should be a much-welcomed break for Ohio State after a tough test out in Eugene, Oregon. Returning home, the Buckeyes will be gifted a cupcake game against the Buffalo Bulls, a game that Ohio State should win with ease. Prediction: Ohio State wins 56-10.
Sept. 26 – vs. Rutgers Scarlet Knights
After dispatching of Buffalo, Ohio State gets its first conference game of the season when the Buckeyes welcome the Rutgers Scarlet Knights to Columbus. And like contests against Buffalo and Bowling Green, Rutgers won’t prove to be a difficult team for OSU to beat. Prediction: Ohio State wins 59-6.
