The Wisconsin football schedule has a non-conference date with Notre Dame.

Oct. 3 vs Notre Dame

13. 809. Prediction. 21. 819

Notre Dame comes into this game with a revamped offense. Their leading receiver Chase Claypool is gone along with their leading rusher Tony Jones Jr. Ian Book, however, is back at quarterback to lead the offense. The defense loses some guys, but their run defense should be much better than it was last year. This game will be played at a neutral site, but it’s a de facto home game for the Badgers as it will be played in Green Bay at Lambeau Field. That won’t be enough however as Coan and the offense continue their struggles from the week prior.

Oct. 10 vs Minnesota

852. 30. 809. Prediction. 24

The battle for Paul Bunyan’s Ax will come early in 2020, and it will be the end of a rough stretch of games for the Badgers. Minnesota is going to be right up there with the Badgers as the favorite to win the Big Ten West and for good reason. Tanner Morgan is back for the Gophers and is not talked about enough as being a great quarterback in the country. Rashod Bateman is also back to catch passes for Minnesota as well in what should be a high flying offense. However, the sting of two straight losses, home-field advantage, and this being the worst defense of this stretch of three games will give the Badgers the edge.

Oct. 17 at Maryland

824. Prediction. 42. 809. 14

Wisconsin will be flying high into Maryland after a redeeming win over Minnesota that kept them in the race for the Big Ten West. With the motivations high and this being a pretty run-heavy Maryland offense, the Badgers run away with this one in a blowout victory.

Oct. 31 vs Illinois

42. 809. Prediction. 20. 807

This will be a revenge game for the Badgers after the debacle in Champaign last season that ended up helping the Fighting Illini to bowl eligibility. This year the game will be played in Madison and with the uncertainty of a lot of parts on offense for the Illini, it’s hard to see Illinois pulling off this upset again on the road. Wisconsin gets their third straight victory and is looking solid heading into November.
