Manager Roy Hodgson’s defensive first approach has been successful. Only the top six clubs have conceded fewer goals than Palace this season. The problem is, Hodgson’s defensive gameplans have prevented Palace from being more aggressive offensively. Only Newcastle and Norwich have scored fewer goals. Jordan Ayew leads the club with eight goals this season. While Wilfred Zaha continues to be the driving force behind Palace’s attack.
