Christian Pulisic continues to be a transcendent player for Chelsea.

Though he hasn’t been in the English Premier League for that long, the star of the United States Men’s National Team is certainly holding his own across the pond.

Pulisic first made a name for himself for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Now, he’s becoming a sensation for an EPL standout like Chelsea. Check out his beautiful goal on the pitch from Saturday.

Down 1-0 at Aston Villa, the winger received a beautiful cross and tapped it into the back of the net late in the 60th minute. As will all his Chelsea teammates, Pulisic was wearing a Black Lives Matter kit for the viewing public at home to watch.

That goal proved critical, as it shifted the momentum in Chelsea’s favor in the latter third of the match. Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud add a goal of his own in the 62nd minute to give his club a 2-1 lead they never relinquished. Chelsea will stay in the top four of the EPL table, while Aston Villa hovers in the dangerous territory of getting relegated next season.

Though Liverpool is running away with in EPL standings, Chelsea remains in a great spot to stay in the top four. They could definitely catch Leicester City or even Manchester City in the standings. Because Manchester City is barred from Champions League participation, Manchester United would be the fourth club getting in this year if the season ended today.

Pulisic’s ability to contribute right away with Chelsea is a testament to how lucky the United States is to have a player of his caliber playing for their national team. Still in his early 20s, if the USMNT ever gets out of its own way, they have the superstar ready to help them compete on the world’s biggest of stages. Being able to deliver in the clutch is one of his best attributes.
