NFL quarterback power rankings

18. Buffalo Bills (Josh Allen)

Josh Allen has been good at times for the Bills. However, he seems to get a bit overrated due to the great defense he benefits from. He does not usually win games for the Bills on his own. Rather, he does just enough while the defense keeps points off the board.

Allen is still an inaccurate passer, and that arm talent scouts boasted about has not translated well into the NFL so far. If Allen can iron out his arm and become more accurate, his potential is exceedingly high.

17. Arizona Cardinals (Kyler Murray)

The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, Kyler Murray, will look to bolster his stock in 2020. Last year, he threw for 3,722 yards with 20 touchdowns and 12 picks under Kliff Kingsbury.

Murray was good last year, both as a passer and as a rushing threat. This year, he is positioned to be even better with receiver DeAndre Hopkins to throw to.

Kingsbury and Murray linked up well in their first year together last season. 2020 brings optimism with the new additions on offense, and Murray is a strong breakout candidate. Maybe even an intriguing MVP bet too.

16. Pittsburgh Steelers (Ben Roethlisberger)

Yes, putting Ben Roethlisberger this low may seem ridiculous. Yet, he is coming off a massive elbow surgery and he is now 38 years old. The surgery alone is a rather large uncertainty.

Realistically, no one knows what Roethlisberger will be this season after he only played in two games last year.

Roethlisberger’s health dictates a lot for the Steelers. Not only does his performance directly affect the 2020 season, but if he does not come back healthy, it could mean it is time for a change under center for the Steelers.
