Jamie Newman posted a new workout video and he looks fired up to lead Georgia’s offense
Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jamie Newman looks fantastic in new workout video
Forgive me for stating the obvious, but Georgia football fans can’t wait for the 2020 season and fall camp to arrive.
After spring ball was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bulldogs Nation has had to wait longer than expected to see what the 2020 squad will be able to do together.
Well, if you need to fill your fix, quarterback Jamie Newman has certainly delivered in that department. The grad transfer signal-caller from Wake Forest has been working out like a mad man this offseason, showcasing his arm strength in an awesome new workout clip.
Jamie Newman looks ready to take the SEC by storm with the Bulldogs
Not only does Newman sling the ball around, but he’s looking pretty darn jacked these days as well. Good luck to defensive linemen or linebackers who think Newman will go down with an arm tackle. Nope, you’re going to need to bring your best effort every single time to try and get the Georgia quarterback to the ground.
With Jake Fromm now with the Buffalo Bills, Kirby Smart and his coaching staff will now look for Newman to run the offense and help them make a push toward the College Football Playoff. There’s certainly a ton of pressure on him, but Newman looks like he’s ready to deliver.
Last season with the Demon Deacons, the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder threw for 2,868 yards and 26 touchdowns, while rushing for 575 yards and adding six more scores. Now, he’s entering his first season of SEC football. Georgia football fans can’t wait to see what he’ll be able to accomplish in Athens.
