Roma face Sampdoria at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday, June 24. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Roma have certainly been making plenty of headlines lately, although not necessarily always for the right reasons. It seems that Pedro will sign as soon as Chelsea’s season is over, and Roma are negotiating to keep both Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Chris Smalling at the Stadio Olimpico for another year.

Those deals won’t be helped, however, by the rumored departure of sporting director Gianluca Petrachi after he fell out with owner James Pallotta. Petrachi was only appointed last summer.

While the return from injury of Nicolò Zaniolo, one of the most promising youngsters in Europe, is imminent, first-choice goalkeeper Pau Lopez remains unavailable, so Antonio Mirante will continue to deputize.

Claudio Ranieri took over at Sampdoria in October, but they remain just a point above the drop zone. There were promising signs in their defeat to Inter on Sunday, and following this game they have a series of easier-looking fixtures against Bologna, Lecce and SPAL.
