Tampa Bay Buccaneers: CB Carlton Davis

Under Todd Bowles, Tampa’s defense played much better down the stretch a year ago – allowing just 10 offensive TDs in its final six outings (31 in the first 10 games). Two-year cornerback Carlton Davis is the NFL’s 32nd-ranked cornerback via Pro Football Focus (subscription required) and comes off a year when he knocked down 19 passes.

Tennessee Titans: TE Jonnu Smith

He appears to be quite the successor to former Pro Bowler Delanie Walker. Jonnu Smith totaled 35 catches for 439 yards and three touchdowns this past season and add six receptions for 58 yards and one score during the Titans’ three-game playoff run. And the three-year pro really seemed to click with quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Washington Redskins: QB Dwayne Haskins

The franchise has gone through its share of head coaches under Dan Snyder and their share of starting quarterbacks the last year and a half. The Redskins used the 15th overall pick on Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins a year ago and the young signal-caller appears primed to seize the moment and build off last season’s solid finish.
