10 bold predictions for the 2020 NFL season

Miami Dolphins win the AFC East

The AFC East is going to look a lot different with Tom Brady out of New England, and it could be a former coach of the Patriots who takes the mantle from his former mentor. Brian Flores once called the plays for Belichick’s defense, but in 2020, he could be the one who brings his team to the top of the mountain in the division.

Looking at the Miami Dolphins last year, they actually played extremely hard for Flores despite the fact that the organization kept trading away his best assets. This offseason, the Dolphins were very busy in free agency, bolstering both sides of the ball, while also finding their franchise quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft in Tua Tagovailoa.

New additions like Tua, Kyle Van Noy, Jordan Howard, Byron Jones, and so many others will change the entire look of this Dolphins roster, as they look to unseat New England in the division. The Buffalo Bills have won with Josh Allen, but he is a Wildcard, and the New York Jets have not been able to get anything going with Adam Gase as their head coach.

When the smoke clears, it could be Flores and his new and improved roster that takes the AFC East, as the loss of Brady could be too much for the Pats to overcome.
