10 bold predictions for the 2020 NFL season

CeeDee Lamb wins Offensive Rookie of the Year honors

Now that Dak Prescott has signed his franchise tag with the Dallas Cowboys, the team can turn their focus on capturing an NFC East title in 2020. This offseason, the Cowboys did a nice job filling in a bunch of holes on their roster, including at wide receiver, where they brought in a solid No. 2 behind Amari Cooper.

CeeDee Lamb was widely considered the best wide receiver in the draft class, as he has unbelievable hands and the ability to run the entire route tree. At Oklahoma, he was the No. 1 target for multiple Heisman Trophy winners, and with Dallas, he should have an incredible impact in Year 1.

In fact, I like Lamb to come away with the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, as he plays for a premier franchise, and will put up big numbers. Dallas has a brand new head coach in Mike McCarthy who knows how to utilize talent on the offensive side of the ball, so Lamb is entering a perfect situation as a rookie.

Sure, Cooper is going to get his catches, and they do have an elite running back in Ezekiel Elliott, but Lamb is a special talent, and could be the difference in the Cowboys getting back to the playoffs in 2020.
