10 bold predictions for the 2020 NFL season

Jalen Hurts starts multiple games for the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles won a Super Bowl a few years back with Nick Foles under center, as he had to come in and take over for the injured Carson Wentz late in the season. After his rookie season, where he started 16 games, Wentz was injured for the next two, before finally staying healthy for a full 16-game slate in 2019.

In the playoffs, Wentz took a nasty hit from Jadeveon Clowney, knocking him out of the game with a concussion, and ruining any chance the Eagles had of beating the Seattle Seahawks. He has had to deal with a ton of injuries during his career, and it would not be out of the realm of possibility that Jalen Hurts starts a few games for Philadelphia in 2020.

Hurts is going to be ready to start when he gets his chance, as he is the kind of kid who is always out to prove people wrong. He left a program in Alabama that he helped to a national title only to land in Oklahoma, where he put himself in the running for the Heisman Trophy.

The hope for Eagles fans is that Wentz can stay healthy once again in 2020, as he is one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL. However, if Hurts gets called on, they are certainly in good hands.
